10am to 12 noon, Mountain bike sessions. These sessions take place every Saturday morning at Ashton Court and are coached by fully qualified and insured instructors for 9 - 19 year olds. The sessions have been running for over 2 years now and they are extremely well attended and popular, with many riders still riding from the very first session. New riders are joining all the time and you will always be made to feel welcome by all riders and instructors. Bikes and helmets are available for those who do not have their own and if you have your own bike it will be checked over for you on your first session to make sure it is ready to ride. Ranger Service Guided Walk - 'Weston 200'. Walk starts promptly at 2pm and lasts approximately 2½ hours. Meet in Weston-super-Mare at the floral Kew Road 'traffic-island' in Bristol Road Lower. A second chance to attend the walk celebrating Weston-super-Mare's bi-centenary as a seaside resort when the first hotel, now the 'Royal', was first opened for business in 1810. The sights and sounds of Weston around 200 years ago are recaptured in the perambulation. There is a charge of £3 per person. All on tarmac but with steep gradients and steps. The free festival is now in its third year and is jam packed with acts from all corners of the globe in a fusion of the weird and the wonderful; this is the chance to sample the unorthodox in an extravagant display of quirky street and circus performances. |

Tickets are available to businesses and individuals and cost £35 to include a three course meal and dancing. The event will also see the winners announced of this year’s Siân Lloyd-Jones Enterprise Awards. All money raised from the annual charity ball, now in its twelfth year, will be donated to local charity and community projects within the North Somerset area.
